Wherever there are mountains, there have got to be mountain cableways too! Whether they're used as part of a hiking tour or family excursion, as an opportunity for everyone to ascend to the summit unhampered by barriers, or for a preview of a fast downhill run on skis or by mountain bike – Bavaria's mountain cableways are every bit as varied as the landscape of the Free State itself, and they provide the most beautiful views out over deep green forests, crystal-clear mountain lakes, gentle meadows and snow-covered mountain peaks. So it's time to say "All aboard!"
